School Chaplaincy
There is a School Chaplaincy program at Ashmore State School. The School Chaplain regularly provides support and pastoral care to students, families and teachers. A number of activities are run throughout the week for students including SUPA Club, a weekly lunchtime activity of fun and games and Breakfast Club, where students can gain a healthy start to their day and build friendships with others. Extra helping hands for activities, financial support and above all, prayer, is always appreciated. We whole heartedly support this mission.
YWAM
Youth With A Mission (YWAM) is a non-profit, non-denominational organization whose primary focus is to know God and to make God known. YWAM is an international movement of Christians from many denominations dedicated to presenting Jesus personally to this generation, to mobilizing as many as possible to help in this task and to the training and equipping of believers for their part in fulfilling the Great Commission. As citizens of God’s kingdom, we are called to love, worship, and obey our Lord, to love and serve His Body, the Church, and to present the whole Gospel for the whole person throughout the whole world.
YWAM Gold Coast partners with Ashmore Uniting Church and uses the Church facilities to run their Discipleship Training Schools.

ASHMORE COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS CAROLS
Each year, Ashmore Uniting Church in partnership with YWAM Gold Coast and Ashmore State School put on the Ashmore Community Carols. In recent years around 1000 people have enjoyed a night of fun, entertainment, activities, food and community carol singing. This event is normally the last weekend before school finishes in December – so please keep an eye out for future events!
